While I’m serious about creating good photography in this gallery, it is also a place to play around with techniques, framing, and abstraction. One of the images below started as a quick print way back in 1993 (35mm VPS). It is a horizon taken from Catalina Island looking back at Long Beach, CA., but I get restless with pretty pictures. The original image has a healthy amount of lens blur, other treatments did the rest.
